Jensen & Halstead Ltd. is a full service, Chicago-based architecture firm recognized for a history of innovation in the design of healthcare, outpatient and senior living facilities. For more than four decades we have dedicated our expertise to the development of these and other related projects.

Since the firm’s inception in 1868, Jensen & Halstead has been on the cutting edge of implementing the latest technologies in architecture. The founder of the firm, Major William LeBaron Jenney, designed the first steel skeleton skyscraper, providing motivation for creativity in design and excellence in professional performance that carries through to the present day.

In January 2005, Jensen & Halstead joined forces with Studio One Design, an interior design firm that specializes in healthcare and senior living facilities. As a team, we are able to enhance each others’ talents and skills, providing a more comprehensive package, better service and a higher level of design for our clients.
